Eternally Eman: A Emma and Sean Fansite

Sean came back to Degrassi in the episode "Eye of the Beholder". He was repeating 7th grade and had a badboy image that Emma didn't seem to mind.

At the school dance later that night, Sean almost gets into a fight with Jimmy. Emma stepped into the middle and asked Sean to dance. Sean accepted.

They slowly started getting know each other. Then in the episode "Friday Night, Sean asks Emma out on their first date. Unfortunate events happened while on their date that made it a disaster but, Sean still liked her.

Soon after, they became a couple. In the the episode "Under Pressure" it was the end of the school year and Sean and Emma's relationship was going great. Sean told Emma about all the trouble he go into in Wasaga, about the fight and how angry he can get. He was really working on his anger until Jimmy and him got into another fight.Emma tried to stop Sean and he accidently pushed her down. This made Emma scared which ultimately led to their break-up.

When Season 2 began, they were still broken up but, would occasionally talk. In the episode "White Wedding", Emma's mom was getting married. Manny invited Sean without the permission from Emma who told Manny to un-invite him. Then on the day of the wedding, things seemed to be going wrong. Even though their relationship was over,Emma ran to Sean for some advice. They talked and she re-invited him to the wedding. He showed up at the wedding and they danced. They had their first kiss together and soon, they were back together.

In the episode "Message in a Bottle", their relationship was going great again. Emma invited Sean over for dinner at her house and he came. Sean ended up leaving her house and went over to Jimmy's and got drunk. He said that him and Emma were over but, Emma came after him. The next day they sat by their lockers talking. Emma told Sean that she liked him and he told her the same. They were still together and they shared alot of great moments after such as Sean giving Emma advice in "Fight for your Right". They even went to the end of the year dance together in "Tears are not Enough".

In Season 3, Emma was going through alot at home. She had a new baby brother and her stepdad had cancer. As much as she hated it, she didn't have much time for Sean anymore. Sean was upset by that and left Emma to hang out with a new crowd who were stealing school equipement. Emma was heartbroken. In the episode "This Charming Man", Emma tried to get revenge on him for hurting her. Sean ends up appologizing but said," It was months ago".

When Season 4 started Emma and Sean were barely speaking to one another, although they shared one brief encounter in the episode "Mercy Street". Things really started picking up for Sean and Emma in the episode, "Time Stands Still Part 2". In this episode, Sean risks his life to protect Emma which proved that he still cared for her deeply and would go to great lengths for her.

In the episode, "Back in Black", Sean couldn't deal with the shooting and the fact that Rick died in the struggle. Jay, Ellie, Emma and him ditch school to go to Wasaga Beach where Sean appologizes to Emma for what he did to her last year. Sean decides to stay with his parents for awhile. Emma and him exchange sad looks as she drives away.

The Sean and Emma relationship was again dead for much of Season 5 as, Sean remained in Wasaga Beach. However, little mini-episodes or webisodes, started airing on the-n and in the webisode "Don't You Forget About Me Part 1" Sean makes up a story that he's opening up a mod shop so that he could come back to Degrassi to get back Ellie, who was his girlfriend at the time of his departure. Ellie seemed more than irritated at his return and more than that, she tells him that she moved on. She's got feelings for someone else. Ellie then walks off, leaving Sean alone.

In the mini-episode, "Don't You Forget About Me Part 2", Sean runs into Jay while he's still in Toronto. After talking about things, Sean tells Jay that he came back for Ellie. Jay tries to convince Sean to move back, saying that maybe Ellie and Alex will give them another chance. Jay pulls down his shirt, exposing a tatoo on his chest that says "Alex". Jay then, grabs at Sean's shirt, asking him if he still has his but, Sean stops him and tells him that he still has it. He then tells Sean that as long as he has that tatoo that he won't be gone for long. After Jay leaves, Sean pulls down his shirt only to expose the name "Emma" that is tatooed on his chest.

In Season 6, Emma and Sean's relationship was rekindled. Emma found Sean with Jay, at an icecream stand where Sean informed Emma he was back at Degrassi and staying with Jay.

The premiere episode, "Here Comes Your Man", showed sparks flying everywhere between the two. Peter, Emma's boyfriend, began seeing Sean as a threat and yet was trying to be just like him. So when Peter heard of Sean illegally street racing, he was pulled in and took Emma with him. Peter races against Jay, and right as they finish alarms are heard. Sean takes Emma with him to escape the cops. There they share a passionate kiss that has been long delayed. In part two, Sean believes they are a couple again, but Emma thinks otherwise. His honesty confuses her when he states, "I know who I want and I think you do too," Emma doubts her relationship with Peter and asks for a break. Of course, Peter figures out something happened between the two and later a bag of drugs mysteriously is found in Sean's locker. Sean is expelled and believes Peter was the cause of this, so he challened him to a race. In the process Sean hits a pedestrian jogging on the side of the road and runs to Emma for help. She tells him she no longer cares for him, and Sean turns himself in for the crime.

The next episode featuring Eman, "True Colors" shows Peter getting away with the deed and yet Sean is in jail. Jay appears at Degrassi in attempt to convince Emma to come to Sean's court hearing the next day for support. Emma is surprised to see Sean so beat up and feels for him, they share an embrace and Sean takes in her scent longingly. A dance was already in motion for the school, but Emma takes it to the next level to help Sean by collecting money. She discovers Peter did in fact plant the drugs in Sean's locker and breaks it off with him. Although Emma did not raise enough money for Sean's lawyer, Mr.Simpson volunteered to find him an attorney. Visiting time is coming to a close, but before Emma must leave she gives Sean a bottle of Honey-Vanilla shampoo to remind him of her. Sean is greatful but admits,"Nothing, can replace the real thing," with their hands together, Emma smiles, and Eman is reunited once again.

Although Sean is behind bars, their relationship carries on to the episode "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" where Sean is released from prison on probation. He's now staying at the Simpson/Nelson residence with Emma and the rest of her family. Emma is starting to feel pressured to be perfect for Sean, since he has placed her on a pedestal, and her long ago hook-up with Jay comes to terms. Sean discovers what happened with Emma and Jay in the ravine, from Jay and is furious with both Emma and Jay. He packs his things and heads for the airport. While there, he drops an old picture of him and Emma on their first date, then looks up to see a couple kissing. Realizing how much he loves Emma, he returns. They forgive each other and notice how things have changed, but still want each other. They kiss, and Sean sincerely tells Emma, "I want to get to know you again Em."

Emma and Sean's relationship continues on into the episode "Love My Way". Emma casually mentions to her best friend Manny that her and Sean are taking things to the next level. She then shows Manny a prescription for birth control. Later, Sean and Emma go to the drug store to prepare themselves. Out of nowhere, Snake appears. Uncomfortable, Sean leaves saying he's late for work. Snake confronts Emma about why she is there where, she ends up showing him the presription and the box of condoms. Not sure what to say, he asks her if her mom knew about it and Emma says that they "had the talk".

Not knowing anything about it, Snake confronts Spike who tells him that they had they talk and that Emma could go on the pill when she was ready. Snake gets upset because no one talked to him about it. Emma tries to talk to him about it later but, he changes the subject. Emma thinks he can't take the fact that she's a "sexual being" which she takes to the next level by doing a presentation in front of the MI class about "Women & Sex" and how men perceive it negatively, directing her speech directly to Snake, of course. They finally discuss things, where Snake finally realizes that Emma is not a little girl anymore.

In "Don't You Want Me Part 1 & 2", Emma starts thinking about her future which involves university and her roomate/boyfriend, Sean. She confides this in Manny who laughs at the thought of Sean getting "serious". Emma is confident that Sean and her will move in together but, Manny is not sure that Sean is ready for that kind of commitment. Later at dinner, Sean starts talking about improving his skills because the shop he works for is at a "dead end". Sean still has dreams of opening his own shop but, says that he needs hands on experience and a paycheck to do so. Still out of school, Emma casually mentions this fact. Sean says that he can get all the hands on experience and get paid. When Emma asks him where, he says to "forget about it". Emma asks again and Sean say replies "The armed services". Emma laughs and asks him if he's serious. He says he is and that he had signed up already. Upset, Emma walks off.

The next day, Sean shows up at Degrassi to talk to Emma who had been ignoring his calls. Emma gets upset with Sean that he didn't talk to her. Sean thought that she'd be happy for him and that he would be doing a good deed for their country. But, Emma has a different perception of the army, telling sean that the army is about taking orders, being told what to do and think. Sean thinks that Emma is trying to tell him what to do but, she says that this is different and that she is his girfriend. She worries that he could get hurt and she tells him that she "needs him right now." He asks her why and that he can "take it." Emma replies by saying that she's not sure if he can then, walks away.

Later, Sean arrives as Emma is waiting outside for him. He asks her what was so important that she couldn't tell him over the phone. He tells her that he is worried about her. She tells him that he might want to sit down because what she has to say might "freak him out". But Sean thinks he's got it figured out. He figures with her state of mind lately that she is probably anorexic again. Emma tells him "no" and that he's not even close. She finally tells him that she's pregnant. Sean just looks at her, not knowing what to say. Then he asks her if "she is sure?" and if she did a test. She says that they will do it together. He nods.

Emma and Sean do pregnancy test together. As they are waiting, they talk about how this could have happened since, they were prepared. Finally, the test reads negative. Sean is relieved but, Emma is still concerned that she still might be, saying that false-negatives are common and that she has all the symptoms. One being that her period is still late. Sean asks what they should do. Emma replies that they talk and make some decisions. She said she thought she'd never abort but, that there is always adoption. As she continues on in a worried state, Sean tries to calm her down by saying that the test read negative and to take a breath before she starts getting worked up.

Later, Sean and Jay are at the Dot. Sean is staring off into space. After Jay gets his attention, Sean appologizes and tells Jay that things are about to change. Sean tells Jay that Emma might be pregnant. Jay congratulates him. Sean looks at him like he's crazy but, Jay says that he has Emma forever that she can't just ditch him anymore. Sean tells him that getting her pregnant wasn't part of the plan but, Jay thinks its Sean's ticket and that he is set for life, asking him if that wasn't what he always wanted.

Sean greets Emma at school and asks her about her exam. She tells him she managed. In an awkward moment, Sean finally opens up and tells Emma that if she is pregnant that they should keep the baby,if that is ok with her. Emma smiles then, throws her arms around Sean telling him "yes, that it is ok with her" and that just doing this together makes it ok. After they embrace, Sean asks her to promise that her parents won't kill him. She says that there will be some drama but, it's better than "boot camp". Sean tells her that he's still going to enlist but, that he'd send money and see her on leave. But, Emma thinks that him leaving her alone is the worst idea. He tells her that he wouldn't bail on her but, that he wants a career. Upset at the idea of being alone, Emma walks off.

Emma confides in Manny about that she might be pregnant. Later on, Emma does another pregnancy test while, Manny, Spike and her, wait anxiously for the results. Emma goes into the bathroom and screams. Emma re-appears from the bathroom relieved to announce that she is not pregnant and that she got her period. Everyone is relieved and happy.

Later at the school dance, Sean approaches Emma and asks her why she won't take his calls. She says that there is nothing to talk about and that it was a false alarm, she's not pregnant. Sean thinks thats awesome. Emma nods but, looks un-happy. Sean asks what is next and Emma says she doesn't know. She looks at him, saying that he is off to basic training and that she is going to university next year. Sean tries to smooth things over but Emma stops him saying that maybe they both shouldn't make any plans for now. Un-happy, Sean agrees and asks her if he can at least have a dance with her. She smiles then grabs his hand as they walk onto the dance floor and start slow dancing.

In Season 7, Sean is nowhere to be seen as, he has been shipped off to basic training leaving Emma back at Degrassi. However, in the episode "Hungry Eyes", Emma mentions to Manny that she hasn't heard a word from Sean. When "Purple Dragon Energy Drink" sponsors an upcoming badminton tournament at Degrassi, upheavel occurs from Degrassi students saying that the energy drink company is all about promoting their product than helping Degrassi's athletics. But, after being propositioned to be one of the "Purple Dragon Girls" which everyone thought Emma would never do because of how the girls portray themselvs, she decides to prove that she could do something that isn't her for once. She realizes later what a farce the "Purple Dragon Girls" really are. After shooting down the "Purple Dragon" campaign in front of the entire school, the girl in charge tells Emma to shut up or take off the dress. She tells the girl that she is not gonna shut up then, removes her dress in front of everyone. She later realizes that she has changed and mentions that "maybe its time I let Sean know that I'm not the same girl he left behind."
